Terms of Service

By using CoachIQ (a product of UPHAUS Labs) you agree to these Terms. They keep the platform safe and fair for every coach.

Who may use CoachIQ

CoachIQ is offered to adult coaches, team staff, clubs and other authorized adults. You confirm that you are at least 18 years old. CoachIQ is not directed to children under 13, and children under 13 must not create accounts or submit information to CoachIQ.

Your account

You are responsible for what happens under your account. Keep your password safe and let us know at support@uphauslabs.com right away if anything looks off.

Coach responsibility for player information

You represent that you have the authority to enter information about the players and teams you coach and that you will enter only the minimum information needed for coaching. You agree not to enter medical information, contact information, family or guardian information into player fields, and to obtain any consents required by your club, school, league or local law.

Acceptable use

  • Don't upload content that isn't yours to share, or that infringes anyone's rights.
  • Don't attempt to access another coach's data, reverse engineer, resell, or otherwise misuse CoachIQ.
  • Don't use CoachIQ to harass anyone or to endanger minors.
  • Don't attempt to bypass rate limits, tenant isolation, authorization boundaries, prompt-injection protections or the AI's soccer-only scope.
  • Don't upload malicious code or content that is illegal, defamatory, hateful or sexually explicit.

AI outputs (no guarantee)

CoachIQ generates suggestions to help you coach. You remain the coach — please apply your judgement, especially around player safety, injury and welfare. AI-generated content may contain mistakes or omissions. CoachIQ does not guarantee athletic development, competitive results, safety outcomes, or that any specific recommendation is appropriate for a particular player. AI output is not medical, psychological, or professional advice.

Safety, welfare and medical disclaimer

CoachIQ is not a medical device, safety product, or emergency service. In any injury, medical or safety situation, follow your organization's protocols and contact appropriate professionals or emergency services.

Beta program

During Beta, features may change. Payments are disabled behind a feature flag; trials are extended. Founder reservations become active when payments launch, according to the Founding Coach terms in effect at the time of reservation.

Fees and Founding Coach

Some features may be paid in the future. Where paid, prices are shown in-app and are subject to change with notice. Founding Coach lifetime purchases receive the benefits described on the Founding Coach page, including permanent ad-free status if CoachIQ is ever ad-supported.

Termination

Either of us can end this agreement at any time. If we suspend an account, we'll tell you why where reasonable and give you the chance to export your data.

Warranty disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, UPHAUS Labs and its affiliates, officers, employees and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, goodwill or profits, arising out of or related to your use of CoachIQ, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or related to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD 100.

Changes to the Service and these Terms

We may modify the Service or these Terms. Material changes will be signaled in-app or by email. Your continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the state where UPHAUS Labs is organized, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. This section is under attorney review and may be updated.
